"Albi, known as "Albi la magnifique", is the administrative centre of the Tarn and was granted world heritage statuts by Unesco in 2010.
Albi is a colourful and exuberant town characterised by colourful orange-coloured brick and auburn roof tiles.
The most popular site in the town is the Cité Episcopale and the mighty cathedral of Saint Cécile. Albi is also renowned for the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec located in the bishops' palace.
